(no subject)
Feels like years since I updated this. Many things have happened since then, but I'll quickly list (so I don't forget) rather than explain. So... exams- oh I got my results! I did really well so I'm happy about that. I also changed my degree to straight archaeology, however that does not mean that I don' love English Lit anymore- I just do better in the other.
Crete was fun- went there for three weeks with three other girls to process Minoan pottery finds from the peak sanctuary of Philioremos in the Gonies region of central Crete. It was AMAZING! But I shall say no more, lest I make ye envious bwahahahaha!
What else? oh yeah. M moved out and Rach and F have moved in so it is an all-girl house- 'ware of the oestrogen! and and most importantly... (drum roll please)
PLACEBO'S NEW ALBUM CAME OUT! I've been listening to it a lot. They have a new drummer now by the name of Steve, which makes me laugh for some reason. I got tickets for their concert in December!
I'm currently doing shifts in the shop for money- I'm skint at the mo, which wouldn't have been the case if I hadn't had to fund Crete the bursury covered hardly anything! I'm volunteering still (have trip tomorrow with the students)- so quite a lot has been happening I guess. Oh and I just remembered- the last time I wrote in here I still had long hair! It's now should length.
At the minute I'm wondering if taking a risk and walking up to campus is worth the effort- the weather's been on and off rain the past few days...
I read History Boys- the play- it's really good. And finallly managed to watch the Princess Bride last night, after reading the book last year- it was great! Think I'll leave it there, nothing much to really rant on (I always forget what I'm angry about unless I'm pissed at the time....)
