Floating on a Flatbed

Nov 20, 2005 21:43

Hello all,

Well, as promised, here is my update of the parade.

So basically, our float was a flatbed trailer pulled by a truck, with decorations. You know those tractors that pull you around at apple orchards? It was kind of like that. Anyways, only about 16 people of our 30-something piece band came, so it was very roomy on the float. We were playing out of these music books that I had never seen before, so I was sight reading everything. It wasn't that hard. We were right behind this float being pulled by horses, so every so often we'd get a downwind stench of...never mind.

In other notable events, Friday was the closest I have ever come to falling asleep in class. I didn't quite get there, but it was close. Thank you, Glick, for waking me before you sat on my feet (which were on his chair).

Only 3 weeks until the Academy Awards!!!

I should get ready for bed. I'm sleepy.

Goodnight!

P.S. - Saw I, Robot today. It was pretty good.
