Dance Party Weekend
Hello,
I really feel like I have a lot of work to do, but I have no idea what it is. Am I forgetting something, or am I going crazy?
Last night was USY formal ball. Naomi did a really good job organizing it, and I had a lot of fun! "Bob," Glick, Alan, Esther, Miryam, etc. were there too. I'm glad I took off my shoes before I mutilated my feet. Tonight, I must do the same - I'm going to a bat mitzvah party! Whee!
I must say that of late, I've let go of my dancing inhibitions. I never used to dance at all, because I didn't know how. Now, I still have no idea how to dance, but I do it anyways. And as far as I know, no one laughs at me.
We have finished painting the kitchen. It is more orange than we hoped for, but I still like it. But it doesn't go with the tablecloth that my mom chose, because said tablecloth has red in it, as well as the same orange as the walls. I helped by painting the trim and window frames. To do the underside of the windowframe that is over the sink, I had to lie down on the counter and stick my head in the sink so I could see the underside of the trim. What fun!
My driving instructor booked my G2 test for late December. This is going to be interesting. When does snow start? Hopefully soon, so I can get experience driving in it.
I should go and a) read Antigone, b) compile the art sheet, or c) choose if I'm going to wear my hair straight or curly tonight.
