Shana Tova!

Well, I must say I'm disappointed that no one asked me questions (see previous post). Was it the format? The tone?

First things first: I had written a beautiful speech wishing everyone Shana Tova, but then my browser froze and I had to reboot my computer, thereby losing everything. Here goes again, then.

I want to wish Shana Tova to everyone, as well as G'mar Chatimah Tova and every other greeting and well-wish that I can't remember. My phrasing may sound silly, but I mean it! Also, if I have done anything to hurt you in the past year, I'm really, really sorry. I hope it is not pretentious to ask forgiveness for things I don't really know I did (or didn't do). If you have an issue, please don't hesitate to call or email me so we can work things out, even after the High Holidays if you want.

In other news, I had an awesome weekend. On Saturday my entire family went apple picking, which was excellent. It was a perfect day. Yesterday I went to Shawna's birthday party and to Bob's brother's bar mitzvah. Those were both really fun.

My uncle lent me the Les Misérables CD, and it seems I will not rest until I have learned all the songs. Feel free to call me obsessed. I actually have one song or another continually playing my head (background noise, I guess), and they do the same in my dreams. Is this the first step to insanity?

I feel very accomplished in that I finished my Biology assignment, which I thought I might not be able to finish (too busy on the computer, bad me). Now, instead of worrying about it for 2 days before doing it on Wednesday night, I have 2 worry-free days of no work. I love the holidays.

Shana tova, and eat plenty of apples and honey - and pomegranates!

Erin
