So, I have been going for physical therapy. And have learned a few things. Two. That the muscles in the front of my leg need stretching. And that the muscles in the back of my leg need stretching. So she gave me various exercises. And now I am filled with aches and pains. And questions.
Like - how long are the muscles in the leg that didn't have surgery? Should I stretch them also? But if I do, and they are longer than the leg that was injured, will they stretch too, and then will the injured leg never catch up? And does it need to anyway?
Mindless this post, and boring, but that is the sort of things I think about twice a day while running through the exercise routine.
In other news: I have been using a tripod since my surgery. My usual method of taking pictures is to sit or kneel if using telephoto lens so I have some stability, but going up and down is not fun at the moment, so I have been carrying the tripod (light weight thing it is) and using the quick release head to snap camera on for pictures and off for walking. Except, today I somehow lost the quick release plate. Retraced my steps with no luck, looked in house with no luck, begrudgingly ordered a new one. Thirteen dollars. The whole tripod was only sixty. Sheesh!
