Andrew's back for the next four months, happy times! Once final exams are over, grrr.
A few days ago, the baby birds that were nesting outside our porch left the nest. I was outside at the time, just staring about like I am apt to do, and one of them hops right down next to me! I must have startled it, because it fluttered clumsily inside! I had to shoo it out with my hands. It was so gentle, it even let me scoop it up and put him outside before flying away.
Today Connor came up to me and asked, "Rachel, how do you shave your legs?"
I was like, "..Why do you want to know?"
Apparently he and his friend had made a pact to shave their legs, and now that he'd done it, Connor couldn't back out. So after dinner, I gave him a quick lesson and then left him to it. I later returned to find shaving cream on the floor, a HUGE wad of hair clogging the sink, and several blood-stained tissues in the toilet which I will resist to make jibes at his masculinity for
Gracie's lump on her paw is getting pretty gross. The vet it's probably cancer. He said we could remove it, but she's not a very good candidate for surgery, and she'd be in a lot of pain afterwards. I really don't know what the bast option, and I really don't want to think about it. She's old and basically falling apart, but I've had her since I was five. I can't imagine the house without her.
