I am, as of today, eighteen years old, making me an official adult. I can now vote.and smoke. and marry(among other things).
And what did said official adult do on this momentous day?
A: I went outside and played in the snow. I built an snowman and watched my puppy catch snowballs. :)))))
Last night, my friends and I went out for sushi. Then we came back and talked about random shit.
Today, I hung out here, and had cake and opened presents. The highlights were:
* A very pretty T-shirt from Auntie Jenny
* Drawings from both Kyra and Kelly, the art goddesses
* a mix CD of grungy goodness from Kyra
* A CHECK FOR ONE THOUSAND FOR A NEW LAPTOP OH MY HOLY SH*T from the Connors (They're filthy rich, if you couldn't guess)
* A new phone, for texting at college
* A wand. Yeah, a Harry Potter WAND (seriously, Char, where did you ever find that?)
I'm going out later to see a live performance of Mystery Science Theater 3000 downtown with Kyra, and right now I'm gonna talk to Andrew.
I know this sounds mushy, but I just have such amazing friends and such a wonderful family, and I feel so happy and thankful to know how much they all love me. Sometimes I just feel like the luckiest girl in the world. :)
