 What if, in Beauty and the Beast, all of the furniture was actually evil? Then the Beast would have a castle full of otherwise-innanimate objects trying to kill him. It'd be like The Shining.  And the halls would fill up with blood. Poor Belle.

Gah, TV Tropes has spoiled my childhood completely.
