we had some real fun
We used to go to rich Mrs. Sweeny's (Jen's third grade teacher) house and dust her doll houses. I remember she always had a bowl of Andes mints on her kitchen counter and I loved that. Her daughter was in high school and one time I saw her toe socks on the stairs and thought that was cool, but I never saw her. One time on the way there Jackie told Jennifer and me about year round school. That fascinated me. There was a giant house on a hill on the way to Mrs. Sweeny's house that looked like a doll house. We used to love that.
Here we are as seniors. I've moved twice, she's moved once. She's still in guard, I gave up on it all when I moved the second time. Her dad's a Colonel now. She wants to go to Duke, or Michigan. Andy is thinking about Harvard for law. She likes to hunt. I like to listen to music. Actually, I don't know her at all.
