Perfect day
It is so gorgeous out today that it is putting me in a wonderful mood.
It was a wild and crazy week filled with lots of work and actual homework..........my last day at the state historical society was on Thursday, and it was very sad..........I will really miss it there.........my last day at Hardin is next Sunday, and I will not be sad about that.........I think I will have to celebrate............
If anyone ever wants to see me again, you will probably have to go to the public library because that is where I will be all day every day from now until the end of time (or maybe just the summer)..........
Yesterday I did my good deed for the month and donated blood.........I did it between my two jobs and afterwards it was a very loooooong walk over to Hardin that involved lots of frequent stops to sit down..........I hadn't done that since I was 17 because of all the tattooing, piercing, and world traveling I have done since then.
Today I met my parents in Kalona and we had loads of fun............we ate at the bakery, went to a quilt show, and bought tons of stuff in the little shops..........I got two very cool framed miniature things (one is an old-time kitchen scene and the other is a fruit stand)..........I am very proud of my dad for surviving all that girly stuff..........at the quilt show I fell in love with the most expensive quilt (because it was purple).........it was only $9000 some dollars........
I am trying to soak up as much energy as possible before I have to go in to work early Monday morning............the donuts that I bought at the bakery might help with that.
P.S. I want everyone right now to go and read the book Twilight because it is like the greatest thing ever..........it is the first in a series that will have many parts so it is officially my new Harry Potter...........and it totally makes me realize that I want to marry a vampire. :)
