A summer....
Ok well I'm guessing thsi entry is goign to be a big un! hehe I have to tekll you all abotu BGG and what I've done since! eek....I may not write it all in one go!
When did I last write? *checks* Ok was just before I left for Georgi's!....my oh so a mazing wellies turned otu not to be of so amazing as the paint cracked :( so now they look like I;ve stepped in pink and purple paint which is funny hehe...my brother drove me to Georgi's and we (and by 'we' I mena me as in me and georgi) sorted out all the food and put it into smaller containers and what-not and packed the bags sooo amazingly hehe (that is until ellen and loni came with yet more stuff for us to take! hehe
After this was sorted we set about makign loni ehr AMAZING birthday cake in the shape of a butterfly! We added sooo much food coulouring hehe it did turn out cool in he end....and cocktail sticks save everything! We put all the mixture in one tin and it wasn't cookign all the wqy through, so we had to take it out of the oven and perform cooking genius on it (turning it upside down hehe) but ti was alright in the end! And people ate it!!! hehe We gave Loni her pressies, which she luuurved! (well they did rock!) And the night followed in a peacefull fashion.
The next mornign we all awoke and had showers hehe and jumped (yes jumped) into georgi's car and her dad took weston supper mare! We got there kinda early but there were loads of peopel there already waiting for the bus...mopstly very cool people hehe and even more cool people arrived...we felt very unbcool hehe we also fewlt like we had an unreasonably large amount of stuff though we didn;t reeeallllllly lol Gettiong ON the bus was a bit of a task! Georgi fell over (the second of many many falls lol) but it was all ok in the end and the uberly cool bus took us to the site.
First thing we see when we get to the site is the CUTEST guy....I tell ya girlies, BGG is the place to go for cute guys and there are dreads-a-go-go! We struggled with out bags though our SYSTEM did rock! And anywya the pain is all PYSCHOLOGICAL! We got many different directions from mnay different people but eventually found a suitable camping spot and set up camp! hehe We spent the day lazily by the tent...it was really ncie actually....he sun was out, we listened to music and did much body art sith face paints hehe and yet more cute guys camped by us so we had a good view hahahaha (\ah the degradingness of ti all hehe) oh and we blew up the bed thingy....VERY dodgy talk there but it wasn;t dodgy at all!!!!!...just think of blowing etc lol
Wjhilst this was going on they guy came around ona horse and cart going 'dfjb for sale! dsfkjh for sale' (we couldnt; understand what eh was saying so we went out and asked and I really really wanetd him to say marshmellows hehe but no, it was skunk...slightly less innocent lol
That night we headed to Croissant Neuf (one of the tents) to listen to Kangaroo Moon....who turned otu to eb a really cool band! Everyoen started off by sitting down and we saw someone who looked like Tom Thurgate and was wearing Joe's top so we shouted tom...well more like whispered actually lol...anyway he didnt; turn around but it WAS him..more on that later! ehe....Ellen saw someone she knows (seriosuly this place is FULL of peopel you know! lol) Anywah she got up goign 'micheal!!!!' and then brings him over ( again cute lol) nd says 'this is ioan' thwat was funny hehe
We met many cool people and danced the ngith away basically!!! We left for a bit and bumoed into some of the builth crew...went back and dacned some more!!! It was so cool!!! There was one point for about 20 mins when the little groupn of people we had befriended...thanks to ellen really hehe....all went crazy dancing swinging eachother around...it rocked!!!! hehe
On our way back to the tent we got really confused...(oh YEAH! I forgot to mention the WISHING TREE!!! It;s THE most amazing tree! hehe I want a pic of it! :( anyway it goes around loads of festivals and people write wishes on pieces of coloured paper and lang them on the rbanches of the treem and it;s lit up with uv lughts! there are 5 types of wishes, the dodgy ones eg 'A dick a day keeps the period away...for 9 months!' eeew, the really sweet ones eg 'I wish my sister loved herself as much as I lkove her', the materialistic ones hehe eg 'I want a cat', the hippyyyyy ones eg 'Lets all love eachother and make peace' hehe and the down-right cool ones! eg 'I wish when we danced we danced like nobody is watching' -yes my msn name hehe- I wrote 'I wish I could give you all a hug' hehe) ANYWAY we got confused because 2 tents had appeared VERY close to out tents....we ahd be fairly isolated before and now we had peopel o top of us! hehe was sweet though, they were this lovely family and we aid goodnight to them and 'don;t let the bed bugs bite' etc hehe and on the second morning we heard one of the boys go m'we were talkign to the girls next door again' lol
The next morning I woke up with a spliting headace :( loni and ge were up really early and had showers and I thinkt hey were annoyed with me and El for not gettign up early but meh lol...thye made us nie food hehe...the OTHER half of the aBuilth crew came up to see us as did yzzy and we sat around talking etc hehe and decided we should do to ecstatic dance! (though they never met us there! hehe)We haqd no idea what to expect but it was AWESOME! Seriosuly! Soo amazing! It was the most surreal, yet totally libertaing experince! We walked in and there were just tons of people dancing in thsi brightly coloured tent..so we joiend them!!! But then the real workshop started....it started with everyone cloin their eyes and feelign energy in different parts fo your body etc, then we did like dancing in pairs and stuff was and then in little groups and you danced in the ,middle of the circle and peopel clapped you! then we did a GIANT circle where 20 peopel went in at a time...was AMAZING!!! I wish I coudl ahve vfilmed it actually....I cnlt explain it...it was just a whole bunch of people everyoen totally different, dancing and nto careign what they looked like or what anyoen else looked like and just ahvign a great time! Then wee danced to 'walkign on sunshoine which rocked!!! Then everyoen did partner dancing hhehe then w eall held hands and dnced around singing 'Always look ont he brightside of life' was so hippyish but the woman was like ;I know it;s new agey but don;t think like that, it;s nto gunna kill you' hehe was AWESOME, MIND BLOWING, AMAZING, FANTASTIC every positic adjective there is!!!!! Just mad crazy dancign with trangers for a coupl e of hours!!! hehe
Made yu damn thirsy though hehe...but we had ncie icecream hehe
Then we loked around a few shops and we all bought glow-in-the-dark, uv ribbon stick things hehe and whilstw e were at that stall we started talking abou joe Thurgate's party and this guy goes 'ypou know Joet Thurgate?' hahaha so we talked to hima nd he was really nice and he pointed us in the direction of tim thurgate (he was behind us lol) so we went to say happy brithday hehe though he wasn;t particularly pleased to see us lol...it freaked otu me thinks hehe
Then Lonia nd ellen went off to shop and me, ge and yz built a castle at the kids tent and then I went off on my own fro a bit and found the phone chargin place which I didntl knwo exsisted..should ahev taken my charger!!! lol got back to th tent and fell asleep for a bit...my headache was back lol
When we all met up at the tent again headed down to Henry;s Beard to listen to this reage band with our ribbons at hand! We danced muchly and saw the CUTEST little baby in the world! and she was oh so smiley! and ehr parents were so cool lol! we also got many dirty looks from these evil lookign girls lol
Went back tot he tent again, ate, drank wine....felt more and more ill so when everyone went out that ngith I stayed at the tent and fell asleep really early hehe was woken up when loni, el, yz and jack came into the tent and then later when el and loni ame o sleep and then at 4am when loni goes ;it's 4 and georgi still isn;t back!' buit there was nothgin we could do so we just went back tos leep! lol she was fine in teh end but had an interesting tory to tell! hehe
I was still feelign crap the next day...had a shower whcihw as nice though hehe....when people went to sanuas and what-not I slept some more and cleaned the mess that was the tent lol and then went to the site to do some shoppign hehe...bumped into loni and george and bought a Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan tape...so cool!!! I saw it and HAD rto buy it, for he IS Jeff Buckley's 'elvis' hehe,..the day unfolded in thsi manner but I just wasnlt HAPPY....I canl;t really explian it...I just fely really stressed out and I just wantd to leave.
So without going into detail about my strange feelings, I'll just say I left. It was really strange, I felt so seperated from everyone and was really nervous about tellign them I was leaving, but they were lovely. I love you guys so much! They totally understood when I didntl think they would and they waited with me for aggges for the bus...thank you guys *hugs*
My auntie and uncle picked me up in cheddar..which by the way i BEAUTIFUL and I was greeted by my beatiful cousins giving me gifts and tellign me they loved ,e and that I 'smell of wales' (more like weed what witht he guy on the horse and art hehe) I got back to my nan's and fell asleep for like 15 hours. Then my cousins came oevr again and we played in he meadow by her house for ages...silly spinning around games etc hehe and then I came backo and slept some more and felt so much better so I think I was just really tired and ill lol
But it was really strange, when you go back to '#the real world' you notcie the difference...the people at bgg were amazing...you could just strike up a converstaion with anyone...everyoen was so chilled out and NICE!
My mutti came up the next day and we had a family gatherignness at some place that was really pretty lol...and there were peacocks hehe
I came home and the next day and for many days afterwards, infact every day afterwardss, went to mpyt to do le show...if I;d been updating a bit at a time I;d have told you the excitign events that have happned eveery d ay but I cn;t be bothered now....but you have to hear abotu chubby mcfarlan! out puppet! and willemcwalesason and monkeymcmonkfo and stickymcbrikison hehe!!!!!!!! these are our new friends.
I;ve had reservations abotu this hshow and it hasn;t bene the best oen at all lol, but I have made a lot of new friends and got closer to people I already knew hehe
erm other thigns that have bene goign on have been fun...the night at trev;s, the gig, stayign at kris and piran's, our lunch traditons haha the cinema, watchign shootign stars with my tillykins (that wa sawesome hehe)
We are now half way through the shows...onyl 2 more now....excitig things have happened. the night at the pub on wed was cool....xeni has now gone....how strange....may never see him again...in fact probabaly won;t...that is so weird....people come intoyour life and then leave....was great to see holy the opther day...and charis.....
