How can I protect each of you, my loved ones, from the horror that is in these video clips? Can I hide your eyes, can I shelter your awareness? This would not be "protection," for the evil in these videos would still exist, would still threaten the peace of your sleep. It might even threaten your own security

I think attention to detail and accuracy and citing of sources is important when dealing with something like this. Otherwise there are many traps for the unwary. If you read the comments at kurdishaspect.com you will see people repeating that she was naked despite the fact that their only evidence is the written article, so I can only assume they have not seen the footage either.

If it's your contention that the written story must be false because the video doesn't show all of what was reported in the text, then I'm afraid our millennia of developing the useful technology of "communication" has been wasted on you.

Look, I want to believe the events depicted in these videos and in the story didn't happen. I wish there were good reasons to believe it's all just fake. But you haven't given me any; all you've done is given me reason to question you

THE GIRL WAS MURDERED. For what reason, to what purpose? Religious fanatics? Oh, and should we examine the fact that someone filmed this idly rather than rescue her from her suffering? -E. Ronakov
