Well Life has taken a turn for the better lately and Im so excited. My dreams are finally coming true. me and my partner David have started all the paperwork and things to open up a rescue/adoption kennel for greyhound dogs. We are having a grant written up this week and have already gotten the non-profit status and tax shit already settled. We are in the process of finding some land to place this kennel and get together all the figures of how much money we need which is gonna be a really hard thing to do. Im totally scared but excited at the same time. We hopefully will have it open in the next 10-12 months. Im gonna need "volunteers" to help out but they will be paid for working.
We are also trying to find a good name to call the place so far its called greyhound rescue and adoption center. Def. need something better then that so if you can think of one help a sister out cause Im stuck.
Everything seems to be falling into place. We just need the grant money to come through which Im almost 100% sure its gonna happen. woohoo!!
Other then trying to start this business I have just been working chillin out. work is going good cant really complain havent had a dog put down in almost a month its great Im loving it. we also have a dog there thats going for the most wins ever at the track the record is 16 straight first place wins Family Guy is now at 11 and races again thurs. so I will keep this up to date. Hes not close to the world record yet which is 26 done like 30 yrs ago. So Let's go family guy!!!
