I roll the window down and then begin to breathe in <-- You're car is like my new second home. All the places it's taken us and all the adventures we've been on in it. It's blue paint shining in the sun or under the stary sky when it starts to look black. Driving with the windows down and our music on has never felt so free...
The darkest country road and the strong scent of evergreen <-- We'll go anywhere, and you'll always know that the scent of you overpowers all else (in a good way of course). When you hold me close, I'll always burry my nose into your neck, even if you just ran ten miles in hundred-degree weather...
From the passenger seat as you are driving me home <-- I sit next to you. You kiss my cheek at red lights and hold my hand on less-traveled roads. Yours is the most comfortable passenger seat I've ever sat in...
Then looking upwards I strained my eyes and tried <-- When I look up to the stars and think of all the beauty I would have missed out on...I hurts my eyes. I try not to cry, espically in front of him...
To tell the difference between shooting stars and satellites <-- Seeing the difference between what's naturally right and what man-kind has done is hard...this has to be natural. Granted, I would never have seen this side of you had man-kind not been so unkind. Are you a natural hero; were you born like this? Please tell me you were...
From the passenger seat as you are driving me home <-- We drive in silence some days. It's not that we don't WANT to talk, we just enjoy the silence. This happens the most when you give me a ride home. Splitting just doesn't feel right to me, and I think the same goes for you. The end of our nights together crush me. Is that too strange?
"Do they collide?" I ask and you smile. <-- I can say the dumbest thing to you and you'll still just smile...we still collide and hold each other tight...
With my feet on the dash, the world doesn't matter. <-- My feet hang out the passenger window, blocking your mirror but that doesn't matter. The world doesn't matter when it's just you and me...lying next to each other in bed; listening to the beat of our hearts. Their unison is beautiful; the most fluid and menevolant sound that's ever traveled to my ears with only one exception - the sound of your voice when you tell me that you love me...
When you feel embarrassed then I'll be your pride <-- You're never embarrassed by me; in fact you hold your head higher than mine when we walk hand in hand, as though you're showing me off you make sure everyone knows that we belong to each other...
When you need directions then I'll be the guide for all time <-- Until you say good-bye to me, I'll never leave your passenger seat. The map leading to my heart will always be in hand, and I'll always point you to the center...
For all time... <-- Always.<3 Ren
