simple kind of life...
yesterday was the blink/no doubt show and it rocked...there were a few things that sucked...
- the traffic: 40, 000 plus people all trying to get to the same bloody spot with 2 lanes leading to it...that so wasnt cool...the ride over there was pretty traffic free until we were like right there that you could almost hear the music and thats where we got suck for about 2 hours or so...no joke..we (the chicks) got out of the moving vehicle while stuck on the off ramp and just walked the rest of the way cuz the show already started...we missed the living end and half of blink's set but saw all of no doubt and the glory that is gwen...it's so great to sing along to every single song that they were playing...
-loosing someone: since we got out of the car, freddy was the one who had to sit in the off ramp traffic for an hour...it sucked eggs cuz he wasnt feeling well and he had to deal with all that...when he finally managed to park and walk the five million miles back to glen helen, he didnt know where we were and there was no means of communication!!!...so i had to watch the show without him which was kind of a burn but i held it together like a big girl...
trying to find that someone you lost: after the show was over we were looking for freddy but couldnt find him...we searched and searched but no luck...we sat outside the entrance for an hour waitig and finally asked the security dude if there was another enterance and he said yes...of course! just our luck...he was waiting at the other enterance...grrrr...so we reunited and headed for the car...we walked all that way to the parking lot for general parking and headed home...
dont get me wrong, i had a blast!!!...but next time i wont go to such a huge venue...i would rather be able to see the band without a tv screen...the bands were great tho...blink, finally i got to see them live, after all these years!!!...and no doubt was amazing...wasnt disappointed at all...go show ladies and gentlemen, good show!!!
