A cloudy Sunday morning
It's a cloudy Sunday morning in April...I couldn't sleep (again) due to uncomfortable legs! I think it's called "restless leg syndrome". Yick. I tossed and turned and tossed and turned. And I feel like a giant ladybug trying to roll over from being on it's back every time I want to change positions.
The plumber came and gave us the a-okay, so I went shopping for dinner stuffs. Our first stove top meal was rib-eye steaks, green beans and mashed potatoes. I do love my slow cooker, but it tends to give foods a slushy cooked texture. I was missing grilled stuff, sauteed stuff, and especially pastas! Oh, how I miss pastas. Tonight we're having fresh artichoke raviloi. MMMMM
I really need to stay away from eBay. I've been watching way too many things, as the theme for the nursery is kind of a funky vintage theme. Not too funky. But her bedding will be all custom made by my MIL. I bought a tiny little vintage nightlight that's shaped like a little girl, it's so cute. There are pages and pages of vintage baby items on there. I'm trying to save for the time I take off, but we need everything for her, and it's hard to be frugal right now. Not that I've ever been, in any way.
