This was one of the sweetest e-mails I have gotten. This was during the time when my ligament was torn up, and I couldn't attend the Thanksgiving Cup to play with my select soccer team. This was written by my 90 D2 manager and assistant coach, Philip.
Han:
I wanted to take a moment today and let you know your teammates ( and coaches) have greatly missed
your presence on and off the field since you have been injured. Gone from the field but never from our minds.
Obviously, our number one concern is about your injury and getting better. There are lots of well wishes
from the team for you on that matter, but also we look forward to having your leadership, spunt and can do
attitude back on the team when you return. We lost a strong part of our team when you went down.
So know we are thinking of you, miss you and are looking forward to seeing that bright shiny smile
when you are well enough to return. Please do not be a stranger as we have one more challenge
this coming week when we play the Rattlers for our last match. I am sure you will receive a warm
welcome back if you happen to show up to support the team !
