Happy Feet!
I just watched this movie yesterday. I didn't expect it to have so many songs. The whole movie is practically filled with songs.And you really have to pay attention to the lyrics coz they are part of the story.
As always, my favourite character(s) is not the main guy but the 5 small penguins especially Ramon. he's hilarious. and the penguins are all very cute.Oh, and the ending gives us all a message. So, all in all I enjoyed watching the movie.
But while watching the movie, I felt a bit weird coz there were only Chinese subtitles. I was like ... where are the Malay subtitles??? then, I remembered that I'm in Singapore! stupid right? but it just shows that sometimes things that are so normal to us may be totally different somewhere else.
And before the movie , I saw a super-hilarious short clip about how Singaporeans "chop" their seats at hawker centres. They use "tissue paper". So, this guy goes and order a plate of chicken rice. Then ,he tells the owner he's sitting at the place where there's a tissue paper. After the food is ready, the owner looks around. And everywhere he looks , he sees packets of tissue!!
Then, he shouts, which packet of tissue paper??? (hahaha)
anyway, it may not sound that funny but the clip was really good.
Ok, back to reality. My exams are almost over. 1 more paper left . and then, going off to Sentosa with my fellow AIESEC-ers for a post-exam party!
