I cried buckets....
On Sunday, I turned on the TV to catch a Korean movie, Lovers' Concerto(LC). I watched it expecting it to be something like My Sassy Girl(MSG). I was correct in a way but also wrong in many other ways.

Major Differences
1. MSG has a happy ending whereas LC ends on a sad tone.
2.MSG concentrates on 2 main characters and has practically no sub plot or supporting characters. LC has a few subplots, particularly one involving Moon Geun Young (a very famous actress especially in China)
Similarities:
1. Both made me cry.
2.Both had references to movies.In MSG, the girl always imagines herself as a heroine in action films or samurai films. In LC, the 3 main characters watch Il Postino , an Italian movie which celebrates love. On another note, I remember watching this Italian movie. If I'm not wrong, this movie was filled with beautiful poems as the movie is about Pablo Neruda in a way.
Basically, I would say that Lovers' Concerto is a movie about friendship and love. If you enjoy movies like My Sassy Girl, you should like this too. But if you hate movies that make you cry or are too sentimental, stay away from this movie.
Personally, I would recommend this movie. I love it becouse I felt that the actors were really suitable for their respective characters and there is a twist that is revealed at the end. It shocked me at first but later I realised that I should have seen it coming.
Anyway, yesterday had lunch with Kok Leong. we ate super-expensive noodles. Tastes good but I think it's not worth it.Met Grace and Pei Ming at Jusco too. They were there to watch Shaggy Dog.
