i havent seen the display yet, im probably going on tuesday if i dont have to work.
i understand your reasoning on that, but there is so much people in the medical field can learn from those babies and others. babies have much different anatomy than adults, so doctors can learn from dead babies to better treat sick babies. having displays of babies in the womb shows people the anatomy of pregnancy. and overall i would say that the babies on display for people to learn from is more useful than just burying it and letting it rot in the ground.
It actually wasn't that bad, but seeing the baby out of the womb threw me off a little bit. Seeing the fetuses didn't bother me, but that did. I think people should learn how these babies died to prevent other babies died. So I completely understand that it is beneficial. They are useful on display though, so I totally agree with you. ^_^
i thought the fetuses looked like little snow globes. i wanted to pick them up and shake them!
it didnt really say how those babies died, but the one had an enlarged skull which i kinda thought looked like hydrocephalus. i dunno... live babies are kinda rubbery and creepy looking, so the plascticized ones didnt bother me.
