I went on a small eBay shopping spree Sunday night. I won a vintage bracelet that's difficult to describe: it's gold, and it's got, like, a vintage class-ring-type facia. It doesn't have a ring on it, it just has a feature that looks like what you would find on the face of a vintage class ring. It's dated 1948. I found it in a search for vintage class rings. I thought vintage class rings might be a fun thing to collect. There are a gazillion of them on eBay and of course the nicer gold ones are all super-expensive because, hello: gold! I also did one of the "buy it now" options for a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses that are a model I've been wanting since I was about fourteen years old. I originally bid on a sweet pair of yellow Wayfarers but lost the auction in the final seconds. They also went for a few more dollars than I was willing to pay. The glasses I'm getting are blue, and I forget the model name. The sunglasses I've had for the past several years are made of cheap plastic and are being held together by a small safety pin.
