Diana and I went into New York City for the weekend and so did my cousin, A.J. The main purpose of this little rendezvous was to see Ethan in his school musical, Blood Brothers. He was one of the brothers, so he was one of the main characters, so it was important-ay. lol.
Future Self,
This was the weekend:
On Friday, we took the 5pm bus to NYC. We got to the apartment and 30min. later, AJ arrived. Everyone was out seeing the musical, so the three of us smoked and got dinner and hung out and talked. It was a lot of fun.
When my parents and Ethan got home, they brought 2 pints of free ice cream they had gotten and one of the pints was called “Spicy hot chocolate chocolate-chip.”
Yeah.
Spicy hot chocolate chocolate-chip ice cream.
I thought, “It’s ice cream, how bad can it be?”
Answer: HOLY SHIT.
It was SO SPICY!!! I thought I was gonna die! You could feel the spicyness in your EARS. ah. It looked so innocent, too. Like an adorable little pint of chocolate chocolate-chip ice cream…
Well, that was a new experience, at least. And then I figured, I bet I could make a lot of money getting everyone in the world to try spicy chocolate ice cream once. Everyone would try it once and I would be a millionaire...
Saturday morning, Diana and I woke up at 9am! Even though we hadn’t gone to bed until 2an! Ugh. Damn our small bladders. And once we’re up, we’re up. No more sleeping. So we got some bagels at the famous bagel place and they were yummy.
Then (and by “then” I mean HOURS later) my mom, AJ, Diana, and I went shopping.
After a long while, we met up with Diana’s best friend, Aaron, and the three of us got pedicures. My first pedicure! It was exciting… not worth 30 bucks in my opinion. But I believe in the motto, “try everything once.” Well, not EVERYTHING…
That night, we went to see Ethan’s play. It was good. Depressing, but good. He did REALLY well! I was surprised, actually, how well he did.
That night was amazing but I’m not gonna write about it. Basically, I got Diana to finally experience The World and it was hilarious because she described EVERYTHING that I feel in The World, exactly. I was cracking up.
Sunday. I bought a really cute summer dress, jeans, and a jean miny skirt with hidden shorts underneath. A ‘skort’. haha.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go FREAK OUT because I didn’t do any homework all weekend and I have SO MUCH and it’s really stressing me out. Only four more days of classes and three days of finals!!!! I can’t wait for this year to be over and it's summertiiiiimme.
