Here’s some history:
At the beginning of the school year, I met a guy named Devon.
And he liked me. And he is very nice and perfect in every way… but I didn’t like him back. No immediate attraction. So I gave it a chance - we went on a date (to the movies) and I hung out with him and his friends once - but not enough of a chance. And I then I started avoiding him. And he eventually gave up.
I’m such an idiot. I want a boyfriend so bad. This boy likes me - who is really good looking, incredibly nice, is just as experienced as I am as far as relationships go (which means nonexistent experience, haha), and has a lot of the same views on many things (including pot and alcohol) - and I run away because it isn’t exactly like when a girl and guy meet in the movies. I’m so retarded. I was just scared, that’s all.
So the other day, I saw him for the first time in a long time. And I gave him a facebook comment. And we’ve been sending messages. And he said we should hang out. So on Friday night, I went to his room and we talked and watched "Thank You For Smoking".
(By the way, before I went to his room, I had tried smoking from a bong. I only had one hit, but it was amazing because it doesn’t hurt your throat and one hit from a bong is, like, two or three hits from a bowl. But it was wearing off by the time I hung out with Devon.)
Saturday night was St. Patrick’s Day.
The biggest alcohol night of the year.
We all got ready and me and Diana’s room. It was fun. We played music and talked and dressed and pre-gamed. (I only had 2 shots. They were disguising)
(Me, Emily, and Diana getting ready and being homie-g)
I invited Devon and he came over around 10 (he had 2 shots, also) and we left to the track house.
It was fun.
We all talked (well, shouted) but our fun was cut short because Emily drank too much. I took her to the bathroom and she couldn’t even stand up or function. After a long while, we decided to take her home. She got about 30 ft. away from the track house, however, and fell into the snow and wouldn’t get up. So I pulled her up and put her arm around my shoulder and Devon (he was being so helpful) got her other arm. It was a LONG COLD journey back. She kept falling in the snow (once in the street) and refusing to get up each time, until Devon and I forced her too. The other 3 girls followed behind us. Finally, we put her into a friend’s car and the 5 of us walked back.
Now, here’s the best part of the night:
I said that I wasn’t cold at all except for my hands. And so he grabbed my hand that was closest to him and interlaced our fingers, and pulled it into the warm pocket of his sweatshirt. And that’s how we walked back. Holding hands in his pocket. :)
We got back and Emily was puking and it took about an hour to get her into her pajamas and I felt SO BAD that Devon was waiting in the hallway. But it wasn’t that bad because there were about 6 other people waiting, also, and someone gave him goldfish crackers and I kept walking in and out of the room to talk to him during the whole ordeal. Then we went to his room and talked (his roommate was there, too) and Diana came over after a while and we watched Boy Meets World and then Diana and I came back and went to sleep.
