Pretty much everyone knows about witch trials. The European ones, Salem, etc. They even make movies for kids with the subject as a central plot point. (ParaNorman was pretty good.) This is a fantastic write-up, and we need to keep in mind stuff like this still happens. Why you don't have a newspaper column, I'll never know, you've got the talent....

Aww, thank you! I think it might have to do my with extremely sporadic writing, and the lack of newspapers willing to accept a column centred on "things I think about in the bathroom".

To be fair, writing a sporadic column about the things I think about while I'm either doing gross stuff or bathing would be a pretty sweet gig.
