apparently i already come up when people search 230 oak, so let me put this as a public advisory. they show a complete and utter disregard for animal life. my 5 month old kittens almost died because they soaked them in roach spray after "forgetting to tell me" that the cats shouldn't be there this time while they sprayed. i asked why then they

It's good to voice concerns over issues, but for the people reading, it's also important to make informed decisions. There are good and bad sides to everything, and this building has not been a bad place for me to live.
PS-I also clean my place at least once a week, and put the garbage out as soon as it is full. I wipe my kitchen counters after I use them and don't leave food or drink spills just laying around to attract bugs. If I ever need to call the super, I don't leave messages - I make sure to talk directly with him, and get a confirmation of my request over the phone. I am always polite and courteous in my dealings with management and staff. I'm not saying the poster does not do any of these things, merely stating that these are the things that I do, and that I associate the positive experience I have had in the building with those actions.

what i do want to make sure to highlight is that it was in fact renny, the building's main maintenance guy, who did the spraying and who directly sprayed my cat (and subjected my other cat to extreme doses of the spray). it was not a company representative who did the spraying. and it was the super himself who was so resistant to helping us and who provided a fake chemical name, not the company.
hopefully others have better experiences, but i would definitely NOT recommend moving into this place, and to the person who commented, i urge you to not allow any sprayings or entry into your apartment while your cats are there if you are not, as they showed a complete disregard/lack of concern for animal life, and i wouldn't want anyone to ever have to experience the traumatic image and situation that i came home to.
