Utter aniahlation

Well sports fans, it is official.  The Sack-em' and Thrash-em' Skaven Scramblers took to the field Sunday in what can only be equalled by a cannon firing a 50 pound load into the earth.  Yeah, they got spectacularly buried.  The first half started out well with our Scramblers Gutter Runner "Slash-n-move" Stan recieving the ball after a foul on the kickoff.  Running far down field he was thought to be protected by the Storm Vermin Blitzer "Suture" Steve.  A clever play by the opposition though and it was Stan up against the field line, but an error by the opposition wight led to a score by the Scramblers.   On recipt of the football by the decrepit and decaying (quite litterally) opposition the rotters prematurely started, catching the Scramblers off their guard.  A line was formed to meet with the putrescent wave of flesh and bone to come.  And this is when the start of the dirt napping really began.  First lineman after lineman then a gutter runner and finally "Suture" Steve himself was stunned or taken off the field by the dirty tricks of the opposition.  Despite the head coach screaming in the referees ear, alas the purposeful penalties were acepted with a blind eye.  It would have been thought that the referee would have had more interest seeing as his predecessor has yet to be reassembled, from what the Scramblers fans did to him,  for burial.  Or at least the old referee might be a new acquisition by the Juggernaut that took the field last night.  The opposition finally scored in the end of the half.  By the end of the first half 6 of the Scramblers were out of the game and three were injured and in the pits.  The Head Coach of the Skaven Team was heard to say "I suppose I could get them some padding but it just slows them down soo much."  With a new line of only 6 fieldable, as Willard "the wall" was yet to recover from his injuries in the previous half of the game, the game was called by the coach of the Scramblers, who were to kick off to the opposition in the first of the second half.  Well better luck next time Scramblers and see you all there then.
