Green Day Vid
I've just been watching the new Green Day vid for working class hero. I've seen it a couple of times now but every time it comes on, I just have to stop whatever I'm doing and watch it again.
I freely admit I don't keep as up to date on world events as I should, but I had no idea how much the people in Darfur had suffered. I know that that's really ignorant but I think every time it came on tv I must have just shut it out or not paid attention.
Iraq and Afghanistan, I always look out for and give my full attention but I think that's because I have friends who are serving out there so to me it's closer to home.
I feel pretty shallow at the moment that it took a rock group to make me pay attention - it worked though.
