Yesterday and today were just two of those all around great days. Like when hilarious stuff happens and you know you're going to remember it and be talking about it for years.
Last night was the Murder Mystery Dinner, which was fun as always. I went with Zach, and he was actually the only solved the mystery: the crazy "the victim was the killer and accidentally poisoned their own drink." We also played a lot of guitar before and after.
Then we went to Michelle's party, which is fun (and well-catered) as always. I walk in and Bill is there already calling me extreme and I thought we were gonna have some pebble eating, but oh no, we had something possibly greater. Nicole's younger brother Ben (like 15!) was there, and I was talking to him, and I don't know what made me think of it, but I suddenly realized that if you could write with BOTH hands at the same time, the right hand one word ahead of the left, it would be SO AWESOME! Think about it! You'd write twice as fast, and it'd be cool as hell. So Ben, Eileen and I got a sheet of paper and two pens and got to work. We decided "The dog was old" was a good starter sentence because they're all three letter words, so it's easier to get in the swing. But man it was still harder than ice.
Anyways, we got mad people to try it, no one being able to do it that great, but the idea is still great. You don't even know!
Then today, got more of Paradox Trail filmed. It was quite a feat getting myself and five other people there, but somehow it happened, and although we didn't have as much time as I'd hoped, we still got a good chunk filmed. Steve, Nick, Chuck, Alex and Tom came to play various characters, and it was just so much fun. I was editing the fight scenes and stuff tonight and it was just so funny and looks pretty good, too. And from another perspective it's cool seeing the combination of old and newer friends collaborating with me to make a cool movie, just like old times, except more well-made.
I don't want to go into too much detail of what we shot (you'll have to see the movie), but there are some amazing shots (many Nick's handiwork). Now I'm gonna read for my english class, which is actually a comic book! What a sweet day.
