I think that's how Alfred and his sister learned. Their father was into diseases or something. They lived on some really cold island world called Rockfort, where they tortured penguins and ants for fun.

That's horrible. Why would they do such a thing to those creatures? That's... And that is why scientists are hated. Because many destroy instead of doing good for others.

Because...they were bored, probably. And Alfred's a jerk, he loves his sister so she probably is too.

So most scientists are like that.
