Since November...

Things are much much better. I've basically shut the Jamie chapter of my life, and I have had much less stress in my life due to not being her friend anymore. Looking back, all the lies she told and things she led me to believe were a HUGE source of stress for me. Now, all of that is gone ( Read more... )

You updated! yay! I know more about your life now :D

So...what happened with Jamie? That sounds SO sudden and weird and random...I mean you guys seemed so close. I'm sorry for whatever happened. It sounds like a break-up, too, so I totally feel your pain...but I'm also really happy to hear that you've been able to move on since then and are having fun with your friends and Ranger!

I'm also glad you ended it with Matt, the last thing a relationship should be (especially at its beginning stages) is stressful...
And maybe you're right--maybe you shouldn't be in a relationship right now. You're in a transitional phase anyway and you don't even know where you'll be in a few months...better to work all that stuff out and get settled (in the location, but also with yourself) before you commit to someone else.

Have you considered applying to any schools besides BC? I really think you should consider Emory and University of Michigan. And I really think you should consider being my roommate or at least living close to me. Haha... I think I've missed you!

Long story short, Jamie has a lying problem. I knew she had been lying about some things, but it turned out to be much worse than I thought. Her mother caught her in a lie and basically came down here, packed her things, and took her home. The whole situation was a huge mess, and I'm very glad it's over.

Matt was a total loser, and I'm really relieved that he's gone. I've gone on some fun dates recently, but I'm trying not to take things too seriously as I will be leaving soon.

I looked at other schools, but they're all in places I don't really want to live...for example...Michigan. Lol. Where do you think you'll end up? Emory wouldn't be that bad, and I will need a roommate. :P

Awww Well it sounds like you're pretty much over it, though, so that's definitely good. I'm sorry times were tough there for a while, though :(

Haha He was a loser?! Lame. I have a date on Wednesday witha guy I met last week but I am totally not ready for it...I still want Benjamin back. For the last two days all I've wanted to do was call or text or email him to tell him how much I miss him and that I want him back. It's bad...

You don't want to live in Michigan?! But why not? It's such an amazing place! Come, now...lol It's actually my biggest problem with deciding where to go to school. On the one hand, Michigan is by far the best law school I've gotten into...on the other, Michigan/Ann Arbor/the midwest SUCK. Lots And it depresses me to live here so...I dunno. We'll see, though.

Yes, Emory could be good! I hear Hotlanta's fun, too! ;)

I wonder if my cats would get along with your puppy...lol.

I don't remember how grad school applications work--when did you apply and how long did it take before you heard back? (from USC) how long before you think you'll hear back from BC? Do you think it's too late to apply to other schools?

I know how you feel about the break up...what reason did he give you for breaking up? My advice is that you don't try to contact him or anything like that...it's easier to move on if you don't have anything to do with him anymore(I know it's easier said than done).

I think it might be too late to apply to other schools, but I'll look around. I probably should have applied to more than two, but it's soooo expensive to apply to a bunch of different schools. USC has a pretty decent program, so if I end up going there, it won't be the worst thing in the world. I think I applied to USC in late November and got an acceptance email a couple of weeks ago though I've yet to get an official letter of acceptance.
