Tubbed
So, the Henry House Memorial Day BBQ 2012 was today. They are now calling it the Penguin House but it will always be the Henry House to me. I went to Costco and bought a package of pineapple chicken sausage. I also marinated eggplant wedges in olive oil, balsamic, and garlic. Plus I got some young carrots (not those horrible baby carrots) and cleaned it up for consumption.
The night before I invited Seth to come with me because he said he wasn't doing anything and I felt bad. Then I thought about it the next day and I asked him not to come because it will be too premature. He was very understanding and agreed with me. And I felt worse.
I went to the Henry House. I was one of the first. There were some people watching Eurovison. The grilling was hours away. I took off and went to Richard give him some cigarettes Scott's mom didn't want anymore. Came back and waited until the BBQ started.
There was a lot of drinking being done. I had about 5 glasses. Once the grill got going, I helped Geoff with the meat.
Pretty soon there was hot tubbing to be done. There were a lot of people who wanted to get in and we had to go in shifts. Everyone was really nice and friendly, more so than usual. Lot more gropage and play. Of course the party moved upstairs to the bedroom and I thought about joining in but there was one pushy (creepy) guy who wouldn't leave me alone so I stayed out of it.
Leo was there and we talked. Tyler was in the tub consistently. Met someone named Ren. Was one of the last one to leave. Ren had to work in the morning.
