Since I don't seem to be sleeping (WTF?), I'll post! Yay!
The show last night went fantastic. Thank you to everyone who showed up! See my previous post or go
here for the videos from the show. I also posted some
other videos from our first show. Quick recap of the show:
- both teams played "What are you doing?" (red team won)
- the red team played a very funny "Blind line"
- we played "Good advice/bad advice" - Ash was a nerdy girl, I was Simon Smith, a British chap, who is the world's greatest actor (or thinks he is), and Greg was a drunk clown named Mr. Biscuit. We won this round
- red team played "Shakespeare" and taught the bard a thing or two
- we played "Forward/Reverse"...I screamed loudly and will be losing my voice soon. We won this round too!
- we played 5 things! I guessed 2 out of 5 correctly, or 11 out of 15, depending on how you look at it :) Stupid king!
- half time!
- red team played chain murder, which was hilarious
- both teams played Story - we won (I came back from 2-1 odds on this one!) both the Pope and Satan were in our story.... :/
- we ended with 185...and I completely blanked on jokes about Programmers - doh! Lots of good jokes from both teams.
- final score....we won! Yay!
All-in-all it was a BLAST. I am loving this improv thing. I was still really anxious before the show, but once again, once the show started I was good to go; and once again once it was half time I was STARVING even though I could barely eat before the show...I gotta bring snacks next time.
Thanks again to everyone who came out last night, and to those who didn't...go check out the videos and have yourself a laugh!
