As many of you know, this cause is very important to me for reasons I do not wish to broadcast. If this bill does not pass, many partners will be forced to find another country or be seperated. Please read over the email and sign the peition.
Thank you,
Travis
Eighty-thousand! That is the number of Americans who are in binational relationships, Americans who live day-to-day struggling to figure out how they are going to keep their families together and stay in the United States.
These Americans are the sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends of other Americans who love them. When you take a minute to think about how many people are affected by the United States' discriminatory immigration policy the number is exponentially larger than 80,000.
Register your support of fair and equal immigration policies by signing this petition and asking everyone you know to do the same. We will pass UAFA but we will pass it faster if we are able to indentify our supporters, especially our closest supporters - the people in your life.
As we approach Lobby Day 2008, May 6, 7, and 8, we are asking you to help us register the support of the people in your life who are with you on your journey to win equal immigration rights.
Please take these small, important steps to help us pass UAFA sooner:
