i'm making this for dinner for bert and i. i don't cook, so this is going to be interesting. LOL

ok, so i found out that it's best to make the spinach and cheese cakes last so they'll stay hot and to not add so much flour to the red wine sauce (otherwise, you'll end up with gravy and not sauce). i burned the phyllo dough, so that was a no go, but the bananas with brown sugar and rum over vanilla ice cream was fantastic!
bert enjoyed the meal so much, he layed down immediately and went to sleep. that was an hour and a half ago, and he's still sleeping. he missed dessert. oh well.
