One of the biggest problems with CPR is that you have to put your mouth on a stranger's. Apparently this is no longer an issue, as leading experts are now saying that the interruption of chest compressions to perform the mouth-to-mouth breathing actually causes more harm than it does good. Reportedly, the majority of people whose hearts stop beating suddenly have been breathing normally prior to this and that means there is enough oxygen in their blood to keep them alive until paramedics arrive - provided continuous chest compressions have been performed until that help arrives.
