As a close connection of Shelly's ohana, I'm heart-wrenched about the abominable disrespect and dishonor the Arioli clan has brought to the bloodline ohana and the the bloodline's ancestors. Shelly's eviction is NOT the first event. There has been "multiple" injustices to the bloddline ohana.
Fact 1: Eleonora evited bloodline's Aunty who was then 70+ years of age from her own home on the homestead. Fact 2: Shortly after Uncle Irwin's passing, Eleonora also evited Shelly's "disabled" sister and her 2 very young children from the homestead. Throwing them out in the night, on foot, without a penny in their pockets. Fact 3: Kept all family heirlooms that were willed to Shelly & her siblings by their grandmother. Fact 4: TRO on Eleonora - Sister and her children from Fact 2 was in desperate need of a place to live. At that time, one of the homestead homes was unoccupied. Shelly was in the process of helping her sister move into the home when Eleonora stormed into the home and assaulted Shelly and was arrested. Fact 5: Currently NON-bloodline occupants are stratigically planted in ohana's homes to keep out all bloodline ohana from living on the homestead. Current occupants are Eleonora's brother in one homes (Aunty Irma's house) who claims to be part owner to the homestead & Eleonora's friend sits in the other. Fact 6: AN ACT OF DESERCRATION: Pertaining to the death of Eleonora's father, Michael Ettore Arioli: casue of death: Suicide by gunshot. location of suicide: In the home of Shelly's grandparents. Fact 7: Eleonora refused many requests for HOOPONOPONO by request of the eldest daughter (Raene) of Irwin Keliipuleole and also extended family members. But why should the bloodlines be the ones to call for HOOPONOPONO? Looks like the Arioli's should be initiating HOOPONOPONO since they are the cause for so much pain to the bloodlines.
Fact 8 and more: There are more factual events that could be mentioned but I hope this information can help with the understanding to the magnitude of violations the Arioli clan has brought to the True KOKO of the aina.
Shelly and her family have been violated one too many! Enough is enough!
I knew Aunty Irma (Shelly's grandma) since I was a liitle keiki and I must say....Shelly and her siblings truly carry their gramdma's strength, humility and nobleness!
It's a shame that Uncle Irwin's children with Eleonora have chosen the path of the Arioli clan and have not chosen to be a bridge of hope in keeping the OHANA together. Who says it's too late. As long as one breathes, one is more that capable.
With all the aloha "so many of us" have for this ohana, Hooponopono

Thank you for responding to this. I know how it can be on DHHL land because I grew up in Keaukaha. I also was evicted from my own flesh and blood so I have a deep compassion for Shelly. I don't think it's right to abandon our own under any circumstances. In any case I mentioned hooponopono which is the Hawaiian way which I was taught.
I don't know why but I hope she (Eleanora) is embarrassed because it is despicable to kick out your own. Family that is and that's why I wrote about her and Shelly because the least I can do is write about it so that more people read about it after they look up "Eleanora Keliipuleole."
She SHOULD be ashamed for abandoning her step daughter and I have no plans on changing nor deleting my posts. My naau told me there was some thing wrong with the story. Aue! How embarrassing but I know some Keliipuleole. I went to school with one who attended Kamehameha Schools and they were nothing but kind. This brings dishonor and shame to the Keliipuleole name but I can only write about it. Unfortunately Shelly is living it but at least more people know about her predicament and how she is being kicked out basically by her own family member....
Re: HARD FACTShaolegirlOctober 6 2006, 00:17:03 UTC
How can that be Hawaiian? Where is the Hooponopono? Sorry but my naau tells me she not Hawaiian because if she was... uh... I no tink she is Hawaiian *L*
Mahalo for all of this. I suspected based on the circumstances of what I read that basically Eleanor seemed to be the problem by convincing her husband to sign over the lease. That act alone says too much.
Re: HARD FACTShooponoponoOctober 6 2006, 03:47:03 UTC
Yes...every word of this is true. I am very close to the ohana also. So sad that the Arioli's have invaded and seek to take over what belongs to the Keliipuleole's. and call themselves HAWAIIANS??? I don't think so! Hawaiians don't act like this. This land didn't come from the Ariloli's bloodline but from Shelly's grandmother Irma's bloodline. How can someone be so greedy and heartless to want to steal from her own husband's children? Auwe!!!
Re: HARD FACTShooponoponoOctober 7 2006, 08:41:39 UTC
I would like to make a few statements. Irwin was a man of honor, and he was a man who would not do this to his children. At the time the document in question was "signed" he was dying of cancer, and was on an extremely large dosage of Morphine. At the level of Morhphine he was being given, no legal document that he signed would normally be admissable in any court of law. Medical records document this. In addition the signature is not level, it is not following the paper, it is as though it was signed by someone not even looking at the paper, not even knowing what was being signed. Also, this does not look like Irwin's signature, not even close to it. There is strong suspicion that his hand did not even place the pen to the paper. Even if it had, at the level of Morhphine in his system, he would have had no understanding of what he was signing. Prior to Irwin's death, there were allegations that the widow had been taking money from his retirement fund without his knowledge. She has many connections in the community. She is apparently very close to many officials. Melanie is her daughter. Those close to the situation make it clear that she is not Hawaiian. Apparently she plans to develop the land, and to sell it. This is an aweful tragedy. This home has been in the Keliipuleole family for so long, and in the grandparents will, it was clearly stated that the property would go to the children. Many honorable Hawaiians are turning in their graves over this. It is about money. A local attorney who beleives in fighting for what is right should come to the Shelly Keliipuleole's assistance in this matter. She does not have the financial resources to fight the necessary court battles, and of course she has to work. She can't do this without an excellent attorney coming to her aid, on a pro-bono basis. This is not about money to her, it is about family. It is about principle. I hope that someone out there will help, since otherwise, the money and influence the widow has will most likely prevail. This is about wealth and power, and the widow has more of it, and more people under her influence. I hope that someone with the ability to help comes forward quickly. There is very little time left. Soon this will be old news, and will gradually be forgotten. There has apparently never even been a criminal investigation regarding the will, despite allegations.

ARe you afraid to have people know the truth?
All I can see from these comments are a bunch of gossips that can't get their facts straight. You know what it did to Jesus.
Like they say - what goes around, comes around - I see a lot of dissatisfied people who can't get their shit together posting their comments.
Get real people.
