Is It Slavery?
Okay, I went shopping with my aunt yesterday and afterward we went to this little pizza cafe in the shopping mall and they had a sign up saying they were looking for servers. So on the sper of the moment I applied.
This afternoon I got a call from the manager to get an interview so I went down. It's pretty close to my house. I was there 30 min after she called, good time ^___^
Here's the deal if i get the job: I get paid $2.30 an hour + tips.
I'd work from 9am - 5pm 5 days a week + weekends if they need me. And we get paid every other week (2 weeks more or less)
Here's the math:
$2.30 an hour X 8 hours a day = $17. 60 a day
$17.60 a day X 5 days a week (more or less) = $88.00 a week
$88.00 a week X 2 weeks = $176.00 each pay check - any taxes
What do you think, is it highway robery?? XDD
