Art, the ordinary made extraordinary

man, haven't gone on lj in what seems like a century.

didn't miss it a bit.

i should update my info...but i won't

whit moved to providence a while ago.

seems to be doing good. i plan on visiting soon

well i hung out w/ laura this weekend.

haven't really been hanging out w/ anyone for awhile. (so anti-social)

well we went to some show in hudson or someplace down there on friday.

i asked laura if i should expect to be surrounded by scene kids...her reply..'probably not'

well the show was @ some kid's house (which was in an amazing area). so we get to his house and there are basically a hundred 100 lb. guys wearing girl pants and following the bandana code.

....sure, there aren't going to be a lot of scene kids

needless to say i was pretty much the only kid that didn't fit in. Laura elise and billy were the only kids i talked to...only kids i knew of course.

i've never felt so out of place before.

oh and the kid's house was really big and nice and i was just awed @ the fact that the residents would allow a show in their half million dollar subdivision

i didn't really like the bands. the first 2 were alright i suppose...not something i would go out of my way to here, but i didn't gouge my ears off. the last 2 bands were hardcore (obviously not my kind of music) and all the karen carpenter guys danced... yeahhhhhh... i just laughed

i've never wanted to be a part of anything before, but when i was there i just wanted to know someone...it seemed so surreal...i'm sure they all secretly hated one another, but everyone just seemed so happy....

on the way to hudson we [laura & I] stopped @ a 7/11 and this asshole that worked there got into an argument w/ me about politics, he was pissed because i'd vote kerry and he was against kerry because of what he'd said about the purple hearts. that was the only reason he had for voting bush and some other guy that came in the store argued w/ me too. so there laura and i stand... cornered in 7/11 forced to listen to a toothless baldmans shotty politically incorrect comments....

those assholes ruined my life.

though i didn't fit in @ the show...i had a suprisingly good time

saturday we stayed @ jessica's house and hung out w/ the group...haven't hung out w/ everyone since the begining of summer so it was good to see them.

june and the girls have been staying @ my house since thursday... their family and all...& i haven't seen them in awhile so it was good to see um... but i'm glad their leaving today.

well gotta go to lunch...
