With 3, I found that weird too. Nia and Nina sound a lot alike, unless I'm pronouncing Nia wrong. Maybe they don't even call her Nia anymore.

They never called her Nia. She has always been Junebug or June.

Obviously bittersweet is about Kate, but I'm pretty sure "junebugs" is a reference to Junia and the kids.

I am pretty sure she was born then as it was 2011 and she was born in 2010. Bittersweet is about Kate and their life together and the pick up trucks was in reference to Shepherd while like the anon below says Junebugs is more than likely a reference to Junia.

No cover story, no conspiracy. It's definitely about Zac, Kate, Shepherd, and Junia. And yes, it was written in 2011 and Junia was born in 2010.
