Palau was fun!
how's everyone? going anywhere fun?
last week i went to the republic of palau, which previously belonged to the United States. it's a small country of islands in the pacific ocean. the tropical climate was great! so were the beaches! (Ronit you were right about them) snorkeling was also fun, and the sea floor was one of the most beautiful thing on earth! on my second day there i swam with thousands of stingless jellyfish! i finally knew why they are called jellyfish because if you touch them, it feels just like jelly! it was really worth it going to the only place in the world where you can touch jelly with getting stinged.
palau is an interesting country. the population is only 19,129. there is only one main road on the main islands. you are not allowed to pass other cars, and you can't go over 25 mph either. there are only two traffical lights but they never light. they have cars with steering wheel on the right or on the left since it was ruled by both japan and united states...and many interesting facts.
i hope everyone else is having fun too, and yes, i seriously need to start doing my summer assignment...
