Disney Star Wars Weekends Posters
Here is a link to some really creative and funny promotional posters that Disney has put together for Star Wars Weekends at Disney World.
On a side note, if you haven't heard they have finally gone into production creating the new ride film for Star Tours. They have been talking about it for years now and it always proved to be a false rumor.
When the prequels came out there was a lot of talk of turning Star Tours into a pod racing simulator. Personally I found the pod races to be one of the most boring part of a generally boring movie.
I was quite happy to read that the Star Tours 2.0 ride will have a similar format to the current ride. It will once again involve a chase through outer space but it will be updated to include some elements from the prequels. Apparently this time the craft will be being chased by Bobba Fett and will also involve Admiral Ackbar at some point. They will also keep R2D2 and C3P0 as part of the ride. I just hope that they will still keep the original ride film operating on occasions as it really is a classic.
A bit of trivia that you may not have noticed. On the current ride the robot host is voiced by Paul "Peewee Herman" Reubens.
