Wellllp, me and Tim had a big talk about our views on sexism.
SUMMARY in case you don't want to read my rambling: Everything is pretty much ok now because we talked it over.
He listened and even though we wound up shouting at each other again, it was just a really loud discussion rather than a fight. He didn't upset me again which is good.
I think we were both a bit wrong in what the other thought. He says that he wouldn't support feminism because he thinks it only is about women, and that generally feminists only care about women. I told him that it isn't, because when women are oppressed, so are men, so are children, so is everybody, and that making women equal will make things better for everyone. He disagrees, he says he is all for equality (and he really is), but that he still doesn't really think feminism is about that, he reckons they don't care about men, which I found a bit silly because of above reasons. And I know there are some man-hating hell-bitches out there but they sure as hell aren't feminists, they aren't a part of MY camp thats for sure.
I guess he assumed that I have man-hating hell-bitch leanings, but I don't. I explained to him that I don't just care about women, and issues that men have to face piss me off just as much as issues that women face. I'm just accutely AWARE of the issues women have, since I am one, and there are kinda more of them, even though a lot of women's issues are also men's issues, and not just damaging to women.

Anyway, while I think he is wrong about some things, and damned if I'm going to apologise, I did promise to write this so everyone doesn't just think he is a huuuge asshole (I pretty much deliberately worded my last entrey to make him seem worse than he was, and because I didn't understand him, nor him, me), because he isn't, he is my love. And he promised that if it ever came to war and he had to chose a side, that he would join with the feminists. :P So we have one more warrior when the revolution comes. ;) A SEXY ONE. But hands off. all mine.
