Space Ghost and I both survived yesterday intact, although he had a bit of a weird rash on his tummy until I hosed him with with cortisone. I think I might've hit a turning point, emotionally speaking. Not to say that I've changed my mind and suddenly want contact with him now or, you know, FUCKING EVER, but last time was the first time that I ( Read more... )

Ahahaha oh man, whatever :). I think you're teasing me. **hugs you**

I'm not sure if it will be posted, actually, or if it'll just turn up in print. I guess it'll depend on whether this ends up being a project for charity, or what.

Oh - it's for an anthology that my friend is putting together (some people feel weird about printing fanworks as a book, which is why I'm not mentioning her name - I'm pretty sure you know her. I'll have to ask if that's an okay thing, etiquette-wise). She first proposed the idea to me as a charity project ... offering a printed volume (I think it's actually going to be two volumes) of my stuff to be auctioned at Sweet Charity or something like it. So, to sweeten the pot, I could add in a secret story or some DVD commentary, things that aren't available to anyone else. To make it worth paying for what you can get for free on the internet, really.

We're working together on the arrangements - I'm deferring to her judgment on these sorts of things - but I guess the DVD commentary/secret story would either be posted after the sale, or it would pend on the buyer's approval. Make more sense?

Go eat, silly!!

Oooh, neat. What a fun idea.
:)

But eating means *cooking* of some sort.
I hate freaking cooking. Gods!
*sulks*

If you lived in California, I'd cook for you :D. Dude, yesterday I was at my friend's house and we made black bean stew with grilled veggies and fried plantains and mashed potatoes and homemade bread and a freaking strudel for dessert. It was ridiculous and very satisfying.

Heeeee.
Nah, you wouldn't. I'm ridiculously *lame* when it comes to food. I really, really, really dislike every legume out there. And raw-to-mostly-raw veggies do a number on my GI tract like you wouldn't believe.

Oddly, cheese, bread and cake are wonderfully tolerable. As is the occasional so-bloody-it's-still-moving steak.

Usually i do bread-and-cheese or a big 'ole glass of juice.
I need to win the lottery and get a cook who can make like...homemade bread and cheese for me. :)

*note: buy lottery ticket*

Pooh. I probably wouldn't, then. I need spice and variety! And habeneros! And garlic! And salt and oil and butter and all the really bad things. Mmmmm. You are lucky that you can still eat cheese and bread and cake.

Man, if I had a lot more leisure time ... I would so love to be a cheese maker. I loooooove cheese, and working at the cheese cafe didn't spoil that for me, thank god. There are such good artesian cheese places in the area, it would be a shame to miss out on them.

Oh, i eat lots of butter and salt. And garlic salt, heh. And i like onions and mushrooms and things. I just can't do like - stir-fry semi-raw veggies, and i can't do 'hot'.

I hate, hate, hate cooking so much that i just...man. I resort to whatever is to hand when it's just me 'cause i hate it so much, and by the time i'm done making a dinner for Cat and Monstrous, i have no desire to *eat* it. Eh.

*really, really need that lottery ticket....*

Cheese is *awesome*. The one food i could not do without.
