So remember that Supernatural story that I've been blabbing about for the last two months or so, the one based on real legends and history that took place in my home town? It's FINISHED. It's DONE. I've still got some editing to do on the final chapter, but I'll be posting the first chapter after I put this up, and then a chapter a day until it's done. Which really sounds more epic than it is, because this is only three chapters long. But! In the spirit of overdoing everything on this project (omg you should see my research folder and notes), I made a soundtrack. If Supernatural isn't your thing, download anyway - it's good music. Graphics, downloading links and song explanations under the cut.

shored, who is wonderfully patient with me. I disappear on her for five days and as soon as I get back I demand graphics, and I STILL haven't written that car!porn I owe her.
This soundtrack features three local bands, which are really two;
Camper van Beethoven is another project by the guy from Cracker. I recommend Camper van Beethoven, simply because I'm more familiar with them and you really can't go wrong with the hippy-trippy country feel. The Cracker song is about a roller coaster at
our local theme park, which was where approximately half of
The Lost Boys was filmed. Apparently the actual name of the coaster is the Giant Dipper.
The Devil Makes Three is probably one of our most famous folk bands and definitely my favorite; their songs have the tendency to sound a bit the same, but they've got a real old school feel, as if film noir and the Dustbowl merged into one slightly spooky sound.
If you like the music, please support the local bands; please download more from the classic artists, please let me know what you think! This soundtrack was put together with the help of
Giraffe; approximately half of the tracks were found on my computer, so I'll leave it up to you guys to decide how l337 I am.
