Hush now baby dont you stress, I'm gonna fill your mommy complex
I'm friends with most people on here in real life, but sometimes you need a real life update to get most of the details.
August 1 was my last day at dairy queen. August 2 was my first day at Target. I think Carolyn (and some others) thought I'd regret my decision to leave somewhere where I was making so much money (13.25/hr + tips), where I was my own boss, where I knew how to do EVERYTHING so it was easy, I could do whatever I want, etc. but I really only miss the money. haha. I get more hours at Target, with a much better schedule (6am-230pm mon thru friday). I get cross trained for cashier and sales floor so I can pick up hours if want them. I like everyone that I work with so far (which isn't much in plano, but all the other departments I like too. Havent met a person I havent liked or thought was friendly). I know my schedule more than a day beforehand. No bickering, no stupid drama.
Oh, and most importantly, I dont have to deal with sexual harassment.
Because my schedule is set, I can exercise regularly (which I have been). I can go out on dates since I'm not in one area on weekends and another area on weekdays. And, speaking of that, I got four numbers in one week. Four. I didnt even ask for them. And even though its summer I see more people around New Britain than I did in Norwich. All my ect friends--please call me when you're in the area/when you want to see me. I've been visiting my parents on sundays usually (sometimes coming up on a Saturday night and sleeping over).
On a nonwork related note, I really like Janelle Monae lately and everyone should listen to her.
