allboutp "Mr. Ueda, I’ve reschedule your meeting with Mr. Chiba. You will be meeting him on Wednesday at 9 a.m.” Tatsuya’s secretary, Miss Shield informed him via telephone.
“Ok, I got it. Thanks Rena.” He said, and then he hung up the phone. After disappearing from Japan, Tatsuya had begun his new life at New York. He started by entering the local University, majoring in arts. After finishing his studies with Honor, he enters the art business. Now at the age of 35 years old, he is an expert of identifying new talent and painting that can be worth selling. He is in Tokyo for business purposes for few days but when Eri heard that he’s going to Tokyo, she insisted on going with him. She also demanded for Tatsuya to take a few days off after the meeting because she wanted to visit her Uncle Kazu and to visit her father’s hometown.
“Papa, let’s go sight-seeing. No, let’s go meet Uncle Kazu first, I want to meet him.” Eri said as she burst into her father room. Tatsuya had picked a suite with two rooms in that hotel for the time both him and Eri stay at Tokyo. Tatsuya chuckled in amusement at Eri’s antic. Every minute that he gets to spend with his precious daughter always bring so much joy to his life. She has been his purpose of living after the death of his wife.
“Which one is it, Princess, that you want to do first? Visit Uncle Kazu or sight-seeing?” Tatsuya asked, even though he knew the answer.
“Let’s visit Uncle Kazu, Papa. I haven’t seen him since ages.” Eri said emphasized the fact that she hasn’t seen her godfather for a long time.
“But you just saw him last month, didn’t you? On your birthday, remember?” Tatsuya reminded his daughter. Eri just nodded, agreeing with Tatsuya. “Yeah, it’s really a very long time ago, ne, Papa.” Tatsuya just chuckled. Eri’s very smart for a 5-years-old girl.
“Fine, let’s go visit Uncle Kazu. But remember, he is a very busy man, he might no be available or have the time to play with you.” Tatsuya said to his daughter.
“I understand, Papa. Uncle Kazu is a busy man, just like you. Maybe we can go sight-seeing if he’s not there.” Eri suggested.
“Hmm, that’s a good idea. Why don’t you go get your jacket? Then we can go and meet your Uncle Kazu.” Tatsuya said. “Ok, Papa.” Eri said, smiling before skipping to her room.

Kamenashi Kazuya was sitting at his desk work, looking through the papers about his new clothes design for winter wear. That is until one of his assistant came and disrupts him from his work.
“Kamenashi-san, there’s someone want to meet you. He said that he is a friend of yours.” The assistant said.
“Did he tell you his name?” Kazuya asked. “No, but he did mention that he was once in a same band with you.” She answered.
In the same band with me, Kazuya thought curiously, but who might it be? Is it Jin? No, it can’t be since she’s already recognized because Jin is here often enough. Maybe it’s Junno, he’s just been here once before. Even Koki and Maru come here quite often. Well, there’s only one more person who never set his foot here but that’s impossible. After all I just called him two days ago and he is still in New York.
While Kazuya still pondering on his thought, he didn’t realize that actually he had already arrived at where his clothes being displayed. Kazuya owned a shop in Tokyo where he sells his line of clothing. Beside that, his office also situated in the shop so it’s easier for him to entertain his customer. He was still wasn’t aware of his surrounding, that is until his legs was being hug by a tiny little person.
“Uncle Kazu, I miss you so much.” The tiny person said to him, hugging him tightly. Kazuya looked down at his legs. “Eh, Eri, what are you doing here? How did you get here?” Kazuya exclaimed in surprised.
“Papa brings me here to see you. Didn’t you miss me too?” Eri asked, pouting a bit. Kazuya smiled and picked her up, hugging her tightly. “I miss you so much, Princess. Look how big you’ve gotten. It’s only a month ago since we last seen each other.” Kazuya said, using Tatsuya pet name for Eri.
“Yeah, its feel like ages, ne. Papa said he has work here, so I decided to follow him. I want to see you,” Eri exclaimed. “Really?! Why didn’t you tell me that you’re coming? And where is your Papa anyway?” Kazuya asked.
“We wanted to surprise you. Beside Papa said that you might be busy, so we shouldn’t disturb you. Papa was right over there. He’s been looking at those cloths.” Eri said, pointing at the rack of clothes.
“I always have time for you, my dear. Now, why don’t we look for your father?” Kazuya said as he walked to the place Eri point earlier.
“Tat-chan, why didn’t you tell me that you’re coming home?” Kazuya said to Tatsuya, arms crossed after putting Eri down. Tatsuya turned around only to see that Kazuya was glaring at him. His little girl was giggling behind Kazuya, finding it entertaining to see her father was scold by her uncle. Tatsuya just give Kazuya a small smile while mock glared at Eri for laughing at him.
“I’m not coming home, Kazu. I’m here only for business. We’ll be back to New York in a few days time.” Tatsuya explained. Kazuya sighed at that.
“Why won’t you come back, Tat-chan? It’s been 9 years already. Don’t you think it’s time to let go of the past?” Kazuya asked, as he sit on the rounded chair at the center of the shop.
“It’s not about the past anymore, Kazu. New York has become my new home. I have a new life there. And career that I enjoy doing. Besides, I don’t want Akari to have a shock of suddenly moving to a place that she’s not familiar with.” Tatsuya explained.
While the two adults were talking, Eri got bored and began exploring the shop. Since she’s a very curious little girl, she liked to explore her new environment which sometimes can lead into a disastrous. And that’s exactly what happens. After a few moment of wondering around, Eri found herself to be at the place not like where she was earlier.
“Papa! Uncle Kazu!” She called but there was no answer. The hallway seemed to be so long and kind of looked the same that she doesn’t know where to go.
“Papa!” She called again. I’m a big girl. Big girl don’t cry, she kept reminded herself although the fact was she really close to tears already.
“Hey there little one, what are you doing here?” She heard someone asked her. When she turned around, her eyes meets with one of the most handsome man she ever saw. Well, after her father and Uncle Kazu of course. Although her father had always reminded her never to talk to stranger, she really was desperate to go back to her father. Beside, there’s something familiar about that guy. Like she had seen him somewhere else before. Not to mention that the man looked like a good man.
“I got lost.” She said, sobbing a bit. The man kneeled down in front of her. “Hey, that’s ok. Don’t cry. Let me help you find your parent. Do you know where they are?” He asked, trying to console Eri. Eri just nodded.
“Papa said that Mama is in heaven. And I don’t know where Papa is but it has lots and lots of clothes.” Eri answered. “I think I know where you’re Papa at. Come, let’s go to him.” He said, taking Eri’s small hand in his and lead her to the main shop since Eri was actually at the hallway of Kazuya’s office.
Upon entering the said place, Kazuya was actually trying to calm the frantic Tatsuya. Seeing her papa worried expression, Eri run off to him.
“Papa!” Eri exclaimed, hugging him. Tatsuya was hugging her back, fussing over her. Realizing that his daughter was safe and sound in his arms, he began to scold her.
“Akari Elizabeth Ueda, what did I told you about wondering around at the place that you’re not familiar with?” Tatsuya scolded, using Eri full name. “I’m sorry, Papa.” Eri apologized with a small voice.
“What if something happen to you? What if you were kidnap or something? What am I going to do if I lose you too?” Tatsuya kept on ranting. Eri quickly hugging her Papa and buried her face on Tatsuya’s shoulder, sobbing.
“I’m sorry, Papa. I didn’t mean to make you sad. I’m sorry.” Eri was apologizing profusely. Tatsuya sighed. “Don’t you ever do that ever again, you hear me? I was so scared that I’m going to lose you.” Tatsuya said. Eri just nodded, still buried on Tatsuya’s shoulder.
“TAT-CHAN!” Tatsuya looked up when he heard his name was called. His eyes widened when he realized who had called his name. Eri looked up to see what the commotion was all about. Suddenly she remembered something.
“I know where I’ve seen you before.” Eri exclaimed, her tears all forgotten. “You’re the man in Uncle Kazu’s wallet.” Eri said. Kazuya just blushed when he heard that.
