PUERTO RICO!!!
so yea...
i just got back from puerto rico (we were in caguas) like 2 days ago (?) on sunday...at like 11! god we were tired...but it was SOOOO worth it!
i cant think of any other way i would have rather spent those like 8 days! it was a mission trip, so we got to help people out, like all we really did was like paint their houses and fixed up some roofs, but it just like made the ppl so happy! it just made me realize how lucky we are and how happy we can make other people. i love that feeling when you get to see someone else smile when you help them out, or cry when you leave. i know that we all contributed to them and made an impact on their lives.
and the people were great! i got to know so many people, and became so much closer than i thought i ever could have come to anyone in just a mere week! i miss my work crew and our kansas buddies! haha and dan...lol...the saranader! just sitting here thinking about them makes me smile and i have no words to discribe my experiences to ya'll. and i know it sounds like really really really cheesey, but im so serious! i had a great time with some great people!
