Bunk Bed
I don't think I ever posted about the day our kids' bunk bed collapsed. Yes, it completely collapsed. With children on it. It was scary. We had some of their cousins over to play, and they came running downstairs to tell us that it fell. We thought they meant the mattress fell because that's happened before. No, the whole frame fell. I'm SO glad no one was hurt. It could've been so much worse.
So, needless to say, we had to get a new bunk bed. We shopped around a bit online and decided we wanted one with drawers built in for extra storage. We finally decided to call up the place we bought our dining table from to see if they could build one for us, El Rincon Rustico. He told me, "We don't have any, but I can make anything you want."
I love that place.
So now we have the bunk bed dreams are made of. Or something.
Look at this thing. It's HUGE! And those drawers... perfect. I really love it.
Evan broke it in right by getting stuck in the railing on the top bunk. He had only underwear on, so it was awesome. I took a picture before I helped him down because I'm a good mom. Haha I won't post it for his sake, though. :)
We actually got this back in November or October, and I'm just now posting about it. Go, me!
