Eat Mor Chikin
A few weeks ago, my sister-in-law Sarah informed me that if we dressed up like a cow, we could get free food at Chick-Fil-A. Not just a free sandwich, but a free MEAL! I love Chick-Fil-A. It's the cleanest fast food restaurant, and I love that the workers always say, "My pleasure," when you tell them thank you.
Unless you go to the one at the mall here in Laredo. Those people aren't so nice. Grr...
Anyway, when she said "free food," I said, "I'm there."
The day came when we were to go together to Chick-Fil-A dressed as cows. I woke up that morning not thinking anything about it. We had decided to meet up at 10:30 and get there by 11:00 to beat the crowd. I forgot.
A friend from church called me at about 9:00 asking if our boys could play. I said, "Suuuure, I've got no plans today. come on over around 10:30!"
I called Andrew to tell him how I had a friend coming over (HOORAY! It's such a rarity), and he said, "Aren't you going to Chick-Fil-A with Sarah?"
HOLY CRAP!
At this point it was like 9:30, and I didn't have costumes for us. I called my friend back and told her to meet us at Chick-Fil-A, instead. She was cool with that. I went on a frantic search for clothes and supplies to make costumes for me and the kids. Considering the amount of time I had and the lack of supplies, I'd say they weren't too shabby.
Observe.
Evan told me he wanted to be an "angry cow." He wasn't really upset. He was kinda sad that I was a black cow like Lauren, and not white like him.
Their little tails. Oh, and I guess I should state that I had no black construction paper, and that's why Evan's spots are colored with a black crayon.

Chick-Fil-A even took our picture when we arrived. We're famous! I'll tell ya... I'll do just about anything for free food... even dress like a cow as an adult. :)
