Muslims and Mormons

For the last few weeks or so, I've been messaging on Facebook with a friend of mine from college who's Muslim. She posted something one time about her religion, and I asked her some questions. Since then, I've been asking her questions about Islam, and she's been asking me questions about Mormons. It's been really fun! I don't know if that's weird that I think it's fun, but I find it fascinating. Religions are interesting to me, and I'm glad I'm getting to know what she believes better. She's a really sweet person, and I feel like a lot of it is b/c of what she's been taught in her religion. I know in my own life, my religion affects me in many ways including how I treat others and daily decisions.

Also, I'm enjoying this b/c I'm realizing how ignorant I was about Islam, and it makes me happy to learn something new. It feels good to use ye ole brain again. :)

I really like answering questions about my faith, too. It's always been a fun topic for me.

Anyway, that's all I really wanted to write about. I'm all excited, and I needed to get it out of my system. haha
